Herkunft
Im östlichen Teil Persiens liegt das Gebiet Khorasan (Land der aufgehenden Sonne) mit der Hauptstadt Meschad (auch Maschad, Meschhed oder Meshad). Ursprünglich war auch die timurdische Hauptstadt Herat, die heute in Afghanistan liegt, Teil dieses Gebiets. Die typischen Muster der Teppiche aus Meschad stammen aus dem 19. und 20. Jahrhundert und bestehen aus kleinteilligen Elementen, die sich unendlich zu wiederholen scheinen und teilweise Medaillons haben.
Material
Der Flor dieses Meschads wurde aus hochwertiger Schurwolle handgeknüpft. Schurwolle wird durch das schonende Scheren von Schafen gewonnen.

Good Look and Adjustable Heights
Size: 16 Inch
Legs are sturdy enough, but to hold a small marble top, it required additional glue to secure the "wobble." Adjustable height was excellent and material quality good. Easy enough to install and works well for a table that I don't plan to move frequently.
