This ends as spaghetti and meatballs setup of cables and devices. From ground up, you go through modem, router, 10-port managed switch, and out to wifi access point and secondary 5-port switch that are in other rooms. I wanted something that would: - Get these off of the desk level in case of another coffee spill ;-) - Separate them enough to where they can breath without sucking up heat from one another - Keep cables neat/organized This turned out to be a very inexpensive and perfect solution.
