Die Sensibilisierung und Erweiterung unserer Wahrnehmung einer scheinbar bekannten Realität zeichnen die Grundhaltung des Düsseldorfer Fotokünstlers Andreas Gefeller (*1970 in Düsseldorf) aus. Seine jüngsten Fotoarbeiten sind deutlich formaler und struktureller geworden und zeigen stark malerische Qualitäten.The Japan Series entstand anlässlich des Projektes European Eyes on Japan, für das alljährlich europäische Fotografen eingeladen werden, im Land der aufgehenden Sonne zu arbeiten. Einen Schwerpunkt der Serie bilden die Poles, für die Gefeller Strommasten in mindestens zwei Einzelaufnahmen lotrecht von unten fotografiert. In der anschließenden digitalen Zusammensetzung verschwinden die Masten, und die unzähligen Kabel und Transformatoren verwandeln sich in eine autonome, abstrakte Komposition vor monochromen Hintergrund. Andere Aufnahmen zeigen Pflanzen, deren Zweige sich um rechteckige Drahtnetze und hölzerne Gitter winden. Das Fehlen von Orientierungs- und Bezugspunkten eröffnet neue Perspektiven auf vertraute Situationen.

Pup’s new favorite chew toy!
My son let one of my pups have a corn cob, which my dog enjoyed immensely. However, son got scolded as these can be very dangerous to dogs, and I disappointed my pup by taking it away. I went to Amazon to see if, by chance, a dog toy existed that was a corn cob. And there we found this- the new favorite of MANY chew toys for my medium size aggressive chewers. I bought two, one for each. They enjoyed “tug-a-war” due to the handy rope end. It squeaks. It’s strong and well made. It’s by far their favorite chew toy. I did store them in the fridge prior to giving them and pretended to eat them to make the pups think they were “real”. The package says they are dog toothbrushes, so a good benefit there as well. I’m sure we will be getting these regularly.

Quality
I have a 5 lbs puppy. Within 5 minutes of giving him this toy he had pieces of the rope chewed off and in his mouth. Needless to say,into the garbage it went. Disappointed

Great toy
Great for an aggressive chewer. I was pleasantly surprised this toy lasted months with my dog chewing at it. Its one of his favorite toys! It cleans easily rinsing in the sink or running it in the washing machine &holds up very well.
