Monopoly Banking ist eine moderne Variante des klassischen Monopoly-Brettspiels, veröffentlicht von Parker Brothers im Jahr 2005. Im Gegensatz zum traditionellen Spiel wird hier das Vermögen der Spieler nicht mit Bargeld, sondern elektronisch über eine Bankkarten-Mechanik verwaltet. Dazu gehören ein Kartenlesegerät sowie Kreditkarten, die den Geldfluss steuern. Das Spiel spielt komplett in Berlin, wobei bekannte Sehenswürdigkeiten als Grundstücke erwerbbar sind. Die klassische Spielmechanik bleibt erhalten: Spieler würfeln und ziehen auf einem Rundkurs, können Grundstücke kaufen, Miete zahlen oder versteigern sowie Apartments und Hotels bauen. Außerdem ziehen die Spieler Ereignis- und Gemeinschaftskarten, die verschiedene Effekte auslösen. Diese technische Innovation sorgt für einen zeitgemäßen Spieleabend, bei dem das bekannte Monopoly-Gameplay durch elektronische Prozesse ergänzt wird.
