Der Spaltkeil von Gränsfors ist speziell dafür gemacht, große, astige oder quergefaserte Holzblöcke zu spalten. Der Keil ist leicht verdreht und hat einen gerillten Nacken, abgerundete Ecken und eine gehärtete Spitze, die das Spalten besonders effektiv machen. In manchen Fällen ist es hilfreich, mehrere Keile parallel zu verwenden, um das Holz effizienter zu spalten.

Der Spaltkeil wird am besten in Kombination mit dem Spalthammer verwendet. Dank seines hohen Gewichts und des stabilen Nackens mit abgerundeten Ecken eignet sich der Spalthammer perfekt zum Einschlagen des Keils.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Verwende niemals eine gewöhnliche Axt als Keil oder Vorschlaghammer. Sie ist nicht dafür ausgelegt, solchen Belastungen standzuhalten, und kann sich verformen oder brechen. Es besteht zudem immer ein Risiko, wenn Stahl auf Stahl trifft, da sich Stahlsplitter lösen und schwere Verletzungen verursachen können, insbesondere an den Augen. They’re very heavy ball and bounce, so you have to be careful throwing it in the house cause you could hurt breakables. Whoever said that these feel like they came from the dollar tree must have been talking about something else. They are thick and sturdy balls. UPDATE: it has now been THREE MONTHS and our Doberman STILL has not destroyed these 2 balls. We play with them many times each day. WORTH EVERY PENNY ADDITIONAL UPDATE: it’s now been nine months. Took this photo this morning. We still have the balls and have since ordered two more. She chews on it multiple times every day. There’s a little hole in it now and it doesn’t squeak anymore but it’s 98% intact and still essentially indestructible. These balls are worth gold.
