The DTC4250e Dual-Sided ID Card Printer with Ethernet, Internal Print Server, & USB from Fargo is a convenient, professional, and secure printer/encoder system, suitable for medium-sized businesses, schools, and local government institutions. This printer comes with an internal print server for secure printing. It utilizes a dye sublimation resin thermal transfer processes to quickly create 300 dpi resolution prints. It works well with CR-80 and CR-79 adhesive back card sizes and can print edge-to-edge. The printer is capable of printing at a rate of 6 seconds per card in black & white and at 24 seconds per card in full color with two black resin panels. The dual-sided printer allows you to add additional company or cardholder information and security features, such as duplicate photos and digital signature. Additionally, its movable SmartScreen graphical display allows the printer to fit into tight spaces.

Asure ID 7 Express , available on a CD-ROM from Fargo , is card personalization software that allows you to quickly and easily design and print ID cards. It features a tabbed navigation setup, tool ribbons, fly-out palettes, dialog boxes, modules, and other display items to assist in navigating through options and setting up the card. Also, it will show you an image of how the card will print as a preview of what you will get.
The Express version allows you to work with various card sizes and will let you add up an unlimited number of data fields. You can also add text, photo, and compound data fields as well as linear barcodes, signatures, and 2D barcodes. Programming for magnetic stripes is also available. The Express version can work with Microsoft Access along with Live Link for real-time data exchange, lets you save and search records, and has fluorescing panel support. Other features include batch and sheet printing, standard and custom reports which can be exported, Excel and Text file import/export, and ODBC import/export.
