The distillery itself has embraced modern techniques for its distillation process and has become the first 100% biomass heated distillery in Scotland, using locally harvested wood chip.
The exact heritage of the Adelphi blended scotch is unknown though it is probably safe to say that spirit is sourced from many of the surrounding islands and peninsulas. The result is a fine balance of peaty richness with strawberry and pear fruit.
