The HD Accessory Bars (8173) is part of our RacksBrax HD range.

This product is compatible across our entire HD Hitch range.

The RacksBrax HD Accessory Bars with a RacksBrax HD Hitch (sold separately) allows you to lock on or take off your full-sized MAXTRAX® and TRED® recovery boards. Take your MAXTRAX® MKII, MAXTRAX® XTREME, TRED® Pro, ARB x TRED® Pro or TRED® 1100 recovery boards off your roof rack in less than 10 seconds.

You will also need to purchase:

MAXTRAX® or TRED® securing pins to fasten the boards to the RacksBrax Accessory Plate.
2 x “T” brackets as a transition between the roof rack bars and the RacksBrax HD Hitch.
NOTE: These Bars can be used without an HD Accessory Plate (but with at least a RacksBrax HD Hitch) for platform-style roof racks where brackets can be positioned at the recovery board securing point separation.

If you have roof rack bars see the HD RacksBrax Accessory Plate.

The RacksBrax Accessory Bars may be required in combination with a RacksBrax Accessory Plate. Refer to the RacksBrax Recovery Board Mounting Reckoner to determine if your vehicle requires Accessory Bars.
