The Rabbit TLA (Thymus Leukemia Antigen) ELISA immunoassay kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rabbit TLA. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rabbit TLA and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rabbit TLA, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rabbit TLA. You can calculate the concentration of Rabbit TLA in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

The Mitt is it.
I ordered the applicator because the Poli Glow Kit on hand was ordered and received a couple of years ago and it had the old chamois covered rectangular applicator. I could tell by looking that the mitt was the better solution. Also, the mitt was described well in an online video, so using it was easy to learn. The results were fantastic and I am very pleased with it. The only thing I would change is to add some more information on how often to replenish the mitt and with how much Poli Glow liquid. I wasn't sure if I was skimping or wasting the material. As I approached halfway, I couldn't tell if I was going to run out before I finished, so I tried to be as frugal as possible. Turns out, I had liquid left over.
