"PARMA - Hidden and Imaginary Landscapes" stems from the surprise evoked by the soundscapes that re-emerged due to measures to combat and contain the Covid-19 virus. Suddenly, we found sound environments completely transformed by the absence of human traffic. It's as if the places had started breathing again, reclaiming their original sounds, the life connected to them, putting on the comfortable clothes of their history. An opportunity that could not be missed: we immediately sought to capture the breath of frequented, beloved, or significant places. Many attempts and elaborations were made, but we believe we have found a synthesis, both in terms of the means used and the expressed intention. We have tried to elaborate "something" that can go beyond sound, engraving memory, allowing for a projection that becomes inherent to the landscapes themselves, which will never be the same again.
