The WAHOO KICKR HEADWIND is the first ever smart fan, designed with the cyclist in mind. Its Targeted Airflow Pattern mirrors the shape and position of a cyclist’s body while riding. The KICKR HEADWIND is sensor controlled so as your speed or heart rate increases, so will the fan speed, and there are also 4 manual speed settings should you want to set your own ideal airflow. With speeds of over 30 mph (48 kph), the KICKR HEADWIND will keep you cool during the toughest training sessions.

Control the speed of your KICKR HEADWIND by pairing your ANT+ speed sensor, heart rate monitor, or smart trainer directly to the fan. As your speed or heart rate increases so will the fan speed.

APP BASED FAN SPEED CONTROL

Pair to the Wahoo App via Bluetooth for easy fan speed control at your fingertips.

4 MANUAL FAN SPEEDS

Control the KICKR HEADWIND with a simple press of a button. Four (4) preprogrammed fan speeds allow you to select your ideal airflow.

KICKR DESK COMPATIBLE

The KICKR HEADWIND was specially designed to fit with the KICKR DESK. The wheels on the KICKR HEADWIND allow you to roll the fan into position when it is attached to your KICKR DESK.

The textured surface provides a decent grip when carrying it around the house. It has bounced off furniture and walls a few times and still looks surprisingly good afterward. The size worked well for my medium-sized dog and was easy for him to grab. There were a couple moments where it got stuck in tight spaces, but that’s more a result of enthusiastic play than a problem with the toy itself. The activity level definitely increased when this ball started moving around. It’s been a fun way to add a little extra excitement to indoor playtime.

Getting the kids' backpacks ready usually means the dog gets ignored for a bit and starts pacing. I turn this ball on and toss it out the back door. It has a surprising amount of bounce on the grass, and the random movements keep him running circles trying to catch it. Pushing the button to switch the rolling modes is straightforward. The battery gets me through a few play sessions before it needs to be plugged back in. The outer shell gets pretty dirty outside, but wiping it down with a damp rag cleans it right up. It’s got a decent weight to it, so it doesn't just get stuck under the lawn chairs immediately.
