This is the debut full-length release by Britain's Joel Nicholson for Morr Music. He has described the cast list of his intimate band as "me and my bedroom." in Manchester, the songs of Butcher the Bar fill a small house, but soon these walls won't be the only ones in which they live. "Make this house a home" could be the phrase that matches this atmosphere. He sounds a little like Elliot Smith, with the persuasive power of his carefully-crafted chords and the immediacy of his softly-spoken vocals. An artist like Joel Nicholson would have been called a singer-songwriter before this word became a catch-all phrase. In the meantime, quiet is STILL the new loud and home-cooked tracks are still the tastiest and most comforting of all. Sleep at Your Own Speed is a coming-of-age novel consisting of 13 short stories. "Getaway," for instance, is a declaration of woe to a city that used to be home once, "Ball Point Skin Notes" illustrates the forlornness of youth, and "Leave Town" is as exuberant as a pop song can be. An acoustic guitar, a banjo, a warm, direct voice. Lyrics such as "I leave town tonight, if only western civilization feels alright..." point to the singer's earnestness and yearning for universal understanding. Melancholy, deceleration and reduction are Joel Nicholson's musical topics. Folk and post-folk, old and new heroes (Nick Drake, Paul Simon, Sufjan Stevens), searching, finding and finally letting go.

High Transfer, Bright Colors & No Ghosting
Size: 8.5"*14", Color: 150 sheets, Size: 8.5"*14", Color: 150 sheets
This HTVRONT sublimation paper 8.5x14 inch has been excellent for my sublimation projects. The 120gsm weight feels sturdy and feeds smoothly through my inkjet printer without jams or curling. It holds ink well, which helps produce clean, sharp prints before pressing.
The transfer results are impressive. Colors come out vibrant and true, with strong detail and no dull or faded areas. I’ve had very little ghosting, and designs transfer evenly onto shirts, mugs, and other sublimation blanks. The claimed high transfer rate really shows in the final results.
I also like the larger 8.5x14 size, which gives extra space for bigger designs or multiple smaller prints on one sheet. The paper releases well during pressing, leaving minimal residue and clean edges.
Pros:
✔ Bright, vibrant color transfer
✔ Minimal ghosting or smudging
✔ Smooth printer feeding
✔ Great for shirts, mugs, and hard blanks
✔ Good value for the sheet count
Cons:
– Must be used with sublimation ink
– Requires correct heat press settings for best results
Overall, this HTVRONT sublimation paper is a reliable choice for anyone doing sublimation printing who wants strong color transfer, crisp detail, and consistent results. Great for both beginners and small business use.

Thin but with extra step works great
Size: 8.5"*11", Color: 150 sheets
It sublimated great but it’s thinner than what I normally use so it take an extra step to not have over lapping but it’s cheaper and you get more so definitely worth the price

My Go-To Sublimation Paper — Flawless Results Every Time
Size: 8.5"x11", Size: 8.5"x11"
This is hands down the best sublimation paper I’ve used and the only one I continue to buy. I get a perfect transfer every single time—no fracturing, no fading, and no uneven results. The paper dries fast, which makes my workflow so much smoother, especially when I’m producing items in batches.
I use this regularly to make air fresheners and tote bags for my small business, and the color payoff is always vibrant and crisp. The transfer rate is excellent, and it works beautifully on light-colored, high-quality polyester and other sublimation-ready surfaces.
If you’re a small business owner or crafter who values consistency, quality, and ease of use, this paper is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it and will continue to repurchase.

Best Sublimation Paper
Size: 8.5"x11"
I’ve been using A-Sub paper for my sublimation projects, and it is easily one of the best. The ink dries almost instantly once printed, so I don’t have to worry about smudging the design or getting those annoying "pizza wheel" marks from the printer rollers. The paper itself feels substantial and doesn't tear or curl easily. One of the biggest wins for me is that it never jams; it feeds through perfectly every time, saving me the frustration of wasting expensive ink and paper.
When I go to press my designs, the ink releases almost completely, leaving very little behind on the paper and putting all that color onto the project. The final results look super professional, with colors that are vibrant and sharp rather than looking faded or dull. It has worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far, and if you want a reliable paper that gives you consistent, high-quality results, this is definitely the one to get.
