Available in a range of working load capacities from 500kg right up to 5 tonnes, this range of ATEX-C4 chain hoists complies with the requirements of ATEX Directive 2014 / 34 / EU and Machinery Directive 2006 / 42 / EC, as well as meeting/exceeding the British Standard BD EN13157:2004 & AI:2009.
Manufactured in the UK, each unit is tested and certified at 2% of the chain hoist rated capacity, with a 4:1 safety factory. Fitted with heavy-duty cast steel latches, these chain hoists come with an integrated latch and hook tip which creates a strong and robust closing method. To ensure maximum safety, each of the William Hackett ATX-C4 chain hoists are proof tested to 1.5 times the WLL.
A unique hand chain joiner is utilised as a fast and easy method of joining the Grade 316L stainless steel hand chain, while the zinc-plated load chain fully complies with international standard BS EN818-7.
Designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -20°C to +135°C, specific internal components are corrosion protected, improving the lifecycle of these hoists in corrosive environments.
