In the 1960s, Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring was published, and a new era of environmental protection began, beginning with the end of DDT and leading to numerous laws to protect the environment and human health.

Larry J. Schweiger became fascinated with conservation in his youth, inspired by the beauty of his home state of Pennsylvania and the conservationists who came before him. His journey is one of constant battles and collaborations with all levels of government officials, navigating the politics of non-profit organizations, and working with important figures such as former Vice President Al Gore, Robert Redford, Dr. Tom Lovejoy, Dr. Herbert Needleman, and many others.

Fighting for The Future of Nature is a fascinating look into one man’s journey to protect our world, the prices we pay when we let self-interest take the lead, and how we all must work together to demand change for the children of tomorrow.

About the Author

She loves them!!
Color: Matte Black, Clear Lenses, Size: Standard
Bought these for my daughter that is a content creator.. she does cooking and food reviews.. She absolutely loves these glasses!!!! They aloud her to free up her hands and not have to worry about holding her phone or using a tripod as much.. the video and picture quality is great.. I've heard her both listen to music and talk on the phone with them. They also look great on her. She is going to add her prescription lenses to them.. These meta gen 2 glasses are pricey ($322 plus tax on sale).. But if you creat content even at the regular price its a no brainer..

I use them daily
Color: Matte Black, Transitions Grey Lenses, Size: Standard
Enjoying arguing with the Meta AI, which is often wrong until you point it toward a current source of info. Bought them for the headphones, which, like the Xreal AR Glasses. Have an open air implementation that allows hearing stuff around you but playing music others don't hear. And the sound while having little bass, is quite good. The 3k hand free photo and video camera is a bonus, but only shoots in vertical, a stupid idea. But meant to push Instagram and Tic-Tic use. In 3k you can blow things up to 16x9 and have ok results. It also answers calls and will do as much as you connect it to. You get the phone audio over the glasses for calls, playing YouTube videos or anything your phone plays, whether an app the AI uses or not. I have Amazon Music and Audible attached so I can voice command them while driving, but Serious radio and YouTube music are fine, but you have to start them manually. The skip to next song glasses commands work on these apps too. Overall a very entertaining device.

I personally wanted it just for the work. I wasn't in the need of a laptop, that's why I bought a chromebook. 1. Packing is awesome (ASUS as always good), nice box with handle, inside of it the chromebook itself and 45W USB-C charger + some papers. 2. Setting up was fast, since I have an Android, but with the iPhone works the same, just scan the QR code and it'll download all it needs. 5 minutes and you're ready. 3. It's 2-in-1 with touchscreen, so you can just flip the screen and voila, now you have a tablet. Touchscreen is good 4. [UPDATED] Average battery life 7-8 hrs while working \\\ Battery life, one of the main things I bought it. It's really up to 11 hrs though it says it varies. But if you're gonna use it just for work as me, it's going up to 14 hrs. (you can see on my photo) 5. You can download Steam and theoretically even play some games on it, but I don't think it can run much 6. Weight, if it's really matter to you. It's 3.6 lbs, but I don't really care about it 7. It's pretty fast, sometimes might be a little bit slow, but it's already an hour I'm using it right now and there's no glitches or anything else at all. I think you just need to give it some time to "heat up" 8. Full functionality of a chromebook, I don't even know what to tell you here 9. Price is kinda high, me personally bought it because of the touchscreen, but if you really need just a tool for work, buy either a simple version of this chromebook or Google Pixel Go which is much cheaper. But if you want a good 2-in-1, buy it. I don't have any cracks on it, the delivery was good and fast and the chromebook book itself made awesome. I already have a gaming laptop from ASUS and these guys know how to do it! It's a nice device for it's price. I'm gonna use it for a while and then make the updates.
