The F-106Bis a two-seat combat coach with a "triangle javelin".Thanks to the new seat, the structure of the fuselage is better re-planned and the weight of the fuselage may be reduced.The structure of the front of the bomb bay and the bomb door are also adjusted due to the longer cockpit.A total of63F-106Bwere built.
