Instant National Bestseller "Excellent." --San Francisco Chronicle "Brotopia is more than a business book. Silicon Valley holds extraordinary power over our present lives as well as whatever utopia (or nightmare) might come next." --New York Times Silicon Valley is a modern utopia where anyone can change the world. Unless you're a woman. For women in tech, Silicon Valley is not a fantasyland of unicorns, virtual reality rainbows, and 3D-printed lollipops, where millions of dollars grow on trees. It's a "Brotopia," where men hold all the cards and make all the rules. Vastly outnumbered, women face toxic workplaces rife with discrimination and sexual harassment, where investors take meetings in hot tubs and network at sex parties. In this powerful expos , Bloomberg TV journalist Emily Chang reveals how Silicon Valley got so sexist despite its utopian ideals, why bro culture endures despite decades of companies claiming the moral high ground (Don't Be Evil Connect the World )--and how women are finally starting to speak out and fight back. Drawing on her deep network of Silicon Valley insiders, Chang opens the boardroom doors of male-dominated venture capital firms like Kleiner Perkins, the subject of Ellen Pao's high-profile gender discrimination lawsuit, and Sequoia, where a partner once famously said they "won't lower their standards" just to hire women. Interviews with Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, and former Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer--who got their start at Google, where just one in five engineers is a woman--reveal just how hard it is to crack the Silicon Ceiling. And Chang shows how women such as former Uber engineer Susan Fowler, entrepreneur Niniane Wang, and game developer Brianna Wu, have risked their careers and sometimes their lives to pave a way for other women. Silicon Valley's aggressive, misogynistic, work-at-all costs culture has shut women out of the greatest wealth creation in the history of the world. It's time to break up the boys' club. Emily Chang shows us how to fix this toxic culture--to bring down Brotopia, once and for all.Binding Type: Paperback

Not true to size
Size: 8, Color: (100) White/Pomegranate/Rush Red
The shoes are beautiful, same as the picture. Super comfortable and very lightweight, but wait to big, I’m a size 8 and bought a size 8 as usual, I never had any problem with the UA shoes before, this shoes are about 2 inches bigger on my feet. I will return them and order probably a size 6 & 7 to see which one fit better. That’s the only reason I’m not giving a 5 starts!!!!

Great fit, support and quality
Size: 6.5, Color: (101) White/White/Metallic Silver
I bought as a gift for my wife, she loves everything about them, the fit, support, and quality. These are to replace a pair of Under Armor shoes that served her well and lasted a long time.

Not a fashion statement, but the best for my feet
I’ve had these for a year & alternate between these & a pair of Nikes & they’re still in great shape. I tried just about every brand in my hunt for walking/light jogging sneakers, and for me, these were by far the most comfortable, even over $160 New Balances & expensive Diadora & ASICS…Adidas Ultraboost etc. Every foot is different - for me, different shoes press against the inner foot bone uncomfortably, and there’s no issue with that here. The sole is thick & cushiony which I find supportive, and my feet don’t feel overly compressed. There is a nice little bounce which each step. True to size. I’d recommend.

Amazing walking sneakers
Size: 9.5 Wide, Color: (001) Black/Black/White, Size: 9.5 Wide, Color: (001) Black/Black/White
Excellent purchase. The size was absolutely correct; they fit my feet perfectly without needing to order a different size. They're also incredibly comfortable from the first wear, ideal for everyday use as well as long walks. The quality feels very good, and the design is exactly as pictured. I would definitely buy them again.
