It's a more-than-worthy follow-up to the critically acclaimed Borders And Ruins (2017) and Disappearing In A Mirror (KR 055CD/LP, 2019) which both made it onto several year's best lists. Over the course of six solo albums on labels like Dronarivm plus EPs and collaborative albums with musicians such as Ian Hawgood (Consequence Shadows (HOMEN 094CD, 2018)) Aldinucci successively has been refining his skills as composer and sound designer. His elegant style blending ambient and field recordings came to full impact on his previous Karl albums Borders And Ruins and Disappearing In A Mirror which gained the Italian sound artist a lot of critical praise and made it onto several year's best lists, such as that of Acloserlisten. Com. Aldinucci's latest effort is again not only a musical masterpiece of sublime beauty and sacral majesty, it also deals with philosophical concerns. Where Borders was a reflection on the instability of borders and Disappearing In A Mirror raised the very personal question of identity, Shards Of Distant Times explores the liminal areas of the contemporary soundscape that are characterized by the presence of human voice coming from old and time-worn recordings. Like in the auditory pareidolia, the psychological phenomenon in which the mind hears indistinct voices in random noise where none exist, voices and music emerge from the everyday soundscape through the omnipresent internet connected devices, creating glitches between time and space.

Great swaddlers alternative when the Velcro became an issue

I bought these because my daughter (12 months) started undoing the Velcro on her diapers, even through her clothes. Finding her soaking wet enough times led me to look for a solution. I really like these and will enjoy them until she finds her way out of them. They’re just as absorbent as Swaddlers and the overnights, and she never gets a rash in them. Only downside is the blowout barrier on the legs is much smaller, so she does have some blowouts out the side. The Swaddlers has more material there to prevent blowouts. These are also cheaper than Swaddlers and overall great quality. Soft and absorbent and I don’t have to worry about her even through a 13 hour sleep at night. That thing will weigh 5lbs when I pull it off her but it doesn’t leak! These are going to be our go to diapers as long as she doesn’t learn to pull them off.

These diapers are a great option, especially for active babies. The 360 design makes them easy to pull on and off, which is really convenient during quick changes.
They fit well without feeling too tight and provide good coverage. Absorbency is solid, keeping things dry for a good amount of time. The material feels soft and comfortable on the skin.
I also like how easy they are to dispose of after use. Overall, a reliable and convenient choice for everyday use.
