LP version. Limited edition cherry vinyl. Mortal Fools was born in the bleak industrial wasteland at the outskirts of San Francisco, rising out of a hazy stew of mold, crushed beer cans, and cigarette smoke. Disastroid worked hard to get a thick, sludgy sound on this album, while keeping the rough edges and noisy energy that they always strive for in their live shows. Mortal Fools is music to listen to while enjoying the slow, grinding collapse of modern society. San Francisco veterans Disastroid have been serving up sludgy, grunge-infused stoner rock for the better part of a decade now, refining a sound that weaves heavy riffs together with angular guitar lines, odd time signatures, and hazy walls of fuzz. As influenced by '90s noise rock as they are by modern psych, doom, and post-metal, Disastroid delivers thick, satisfying stoner rock stomp while also embracing layers of noise, tripped-out feedback, and some unpredictable song structures. Their original approach, captured on their 2014 record Missiles and the 2017 follow-up Screen, has made them one of the most essential bands in the Bay Area music scene. Their latest, Mortal Fools is their heaviest and most expansive-sounding album to date. Produced by Tim Green (Nation of Ulysses, The Fucking Champs), it's sonically focused on what Disastroid does best, laying singer/guitarist Enver Koneya's deep vocals and fuzzed-out riffs on top of a relentless, pummeling rhythm section. At the same time, it's loose enough that it takes some unpredictable twists and turns, conveying the band's rough edges, sense of humor, and noisy, experimental streak.

Color: Boysenberry, Size: 1 inch
The boysenberry color is pretty. The Retrospec mat is odor-free, 7/8” thick (so close enough), dense, and non-slip on my wood floor. I wanted the density to cushion pressure points whilst performing various core exercises and general stretching on the floor. It works well for my purpose. I agree with other commenters, the 1” thick mat is too unstable for yoga. That said, the slight instability makes this mat useful for developing balance and core stability by balancing on uneven surfaces, similar to the benefits of walking on grass or trails. The mat is easily nicked by long nails (human and animal) rocks, sticks etc. so pay attention to where you set it up; however not a deal-breaker for my use. I originally looked at the BalanceFrom GoCloud mat because it is the mat that appears in several online reviews with a link to Amazon. However, once on Amazon, I noticed remarkable similarities between the GoCloud and Retrospec reviews. I suspect both mats are identical just with a different brand name and sold by different companies. I ultimately went with the Retrospec mat because the Retrospec is sold and shipped by Amazon so the benefits and protections of “Amazon Prime”, including free returns, apply. The GoCloud mat could be returned however according to the fine print, if the return wasn’t due to Seller’s error the return might be subject to a restocking fee. One of the most objectionable review comments common to both brands had to do with the mat having a terrible, lingering odor. I was willing to take a chance and order it, but would have returned it if it had a bad odor. I did not want to pay a restocking fee so went with the Retrospec mat sold and shipped by Amazon. One exception is Amazon Prime offers the GoCloud in black only. I didn’t want black because I expect to occasionally use it outside in the Florida sun and it will get really hot.

Quality weights for all fitness levels
Style: 32lb Set, Style: 32lb Set
Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Good quality and the stand is very sturdy.
The stand was super easy to put together and it’s held up incredibly well. I’ve used these weights almost every day for the last couple months and they aren’t showing any signs of wear. They are definitely well made were exactly what I was expecting. The stand has been knocked over and dropped many times and it still works and looks as good as the day I put it together.
They are very comfortable to hold during workouts and they aren’t slippery when your hands get sweaty.
I would definitely recommend these!

Nice weight set for Bar Method
Style: 20lb Set
I do a low impact workout called Bar Method. I love these weights because they match the ones we have in class. They function well. No issues over many workouts. They look nice on my little workout shelf, too. I recycled the stand. Didn't need it. Good value for the weights you get.

Solid Weight Set
Style: 32lb Set, Style: 32lb Set
Pretty solid set of weights. Love that it comes with a little rack. The rack is plastic but for the weights I got (3, 5, 8 lbs) it feels sturdy enough. The texture and quality feel exactly like the weights that the high end Pilates studio I go on occasion uses. Seems durable and easy to keep clean. Would definitely recommend.
