The overall height is just over 18" and it stands on a heavy, footed marble base in your choice of black or white marble. The LEDs illuminate brightly at 4,000 degrees K and the switch is on the electrical cord. About Miroir Brot
In the archives of the Manufacture de Saint Gobain, in the 18th century it can be found that Francoois Brot, a mirror maker in the court of King Charles X, founded Miroir Brot in 1826. Brot was a craft professional of the highest caliber and distinction, a visionary, able to interpret new aesthetic aspiration. In the heart of the Old Paris, near the historic Place de la République, Miroir Brot almost immediately achieved a great degree of success becoming the preeminent manufacturer it its field, both in France and throughout Europe.
Brot invented and patented the Triptyque in 1875 - an innovative mirror that displays reflections on three panels. It was a completely revolutionary mirror that instantly obtained world-wide notoriety. Connoisseurs referred to this ground-breaking mirror simply as 'un miroir Brot'.
In 1927 Brot made another breakthrough, designing and inventing the first illuminated mirror - the "Mirophar".
Although the initial thrust was to equip automobiles, it was in luxury hotels that Mirophar acquired its fame. Rather than a cheap gizmo, the amenity brought to the hotel guest more than he expected for a meticulous make-up application or shave - especially with advancing age and declining eyesight.
The "spotlight" was revolutionary and designed into the mirror surface, prevented the mirror from fogging.
Now under Maitres Robinetiers de France, and still manufactured near Paris after almost two hundred years, Miroir Brot carries on the age-old tradition of glass and copper brass working. The Art of Finishing
Through 175 years, from 1826 and through 1999, the Maison Brot manufactured only the finest magnifying mirrors. Today, Maitres Robinetiers de France has assumed the manufacture of the Miroir Brot collection - still the standard of the. To attain this degree of quality, four steps of meticulous processing are required.-
Polishing to obtain a perfectly smooth surface:
To produce a shiny mirror that's flawless and totally smooth, polishing is an indispensable technique used to make Brot mirror finishing unique, homogeneous, shiny, and free of porosity.To obtain the desired result, the polishing drums technique is used: The part to be polished is hand-held against the surface grinding and polishing wheels with discs of various materials including cotton, sisal, tampico, rope, and composite synthetic fibers. The wheels rotate at a high speed of approx 9,750 ft/minute and are generally coated with polishing paste.

Nickel Electroplating: The fusion of aesthetics and technology.
The electrolytic nickel plating is the most important step. Before a final finish can be applied, the nickel plating forms a barrier against corrosion.

Galvanic technique:
Galvanic electroplating is used to electrolytically deposit metals on substrates prepared in advance. Through this process high-end and noble metals are applied to Miroir Brot arms, brackets, and frames. Metals examples are chromium, nickel, and gold.This technique has the end result protection of Miroir BROT mirrors against corrosion, and oxidation - whether by contact with air or moisture; and gives a protection against aging.

Gold is still considered the symbol of wealth and luxury. Gold is soft, ductile, and malleable. It is principally used for decorative effect, but as a noble metal it has an extraordinary resistance to oxication and corrosion. Excellent quality and value!

I bought the Epson EcoTank 2400 yesterday and set it up today. If it continues performing this well for the next ten years, I’ll be very happy with this purchase.
I bought it to replace my old Canon MP190. The print quality on the Canon suddenly became very poor, which may honestly have been more of a cartridge issue than a printer issue, but testing that would have been expensive. On top of that, the printer was old enough that modern operating systems no longer support the scanner drivers, so I couldn’t even use the flatbed scanner anymore. At that point, replacing the whole printer made more sense. The ET-2400 is not quite as wide as the MP190 which is a nice plus.
The biggest advantage of the EcoTank line is the refillable ink tanks. Printer ink is already expensive, but traditional cartridges also include microchips and hardware that drive the cost even higher. With this printer, I can refill only the specific color I need instead of replacing an entire color cartridge because one channel ran out.
I mostly print proxies and alternate art for Magic: The Gathering, so I regularly print nearly full-page, full-color images (eight cards per page). Because of that, image quality matters a lot to me. I also wanted a working flatbed scanner so I could scan my paintings instead of photographing them.
I did not use the wireless features. Instead, I connected the printer directly to my computer with a USB cable after downloading Epson’s management software. Setup was straightforward, the software updated itself automatically after asking permission, and my computer recognized the printer immediately. It showed up in Photoshop right away with no issues.
The only thing I disliked during setup was that the registration process appears to require opting into marketing emails. I’ll unsubscribe later.
Print Quality:
Colors are bright and vibrant, blacks are deep and dark, and the images come out crisp and clean. Some reviewers mentioned getting “light gray” blacks, but I haven’t experienced that problem at all.
Scanning:
The flatbed scanner is slightly too small for a full 9x12 painting, but I expected that and don’t consider it a flaw. The scans came out vibrant, sharp, and detailed. It couldn’t fully capture the shimmer of my metallic paints, but that’s normal — I usually need angled lighting in photographs to show metallic effects accurately anyway.

Incredibly cost-efficient, reliable, and perfect for everyday home use

I’ve been using the Epson EcoTank ET-2400, and it’s easily one of the best home printers I’ve owned—especially if you’re tired of constantly buying expensive ink cartridges.
Ink Savings (Huge Win):
The cartridge-free EcoTank system is a game changer. Filling the tanks is simple, mess-free, and the amount of ink you get lasts a long time. I’ve printed a ton already and barely made a dent. If you print regularly, this alone makes the printer worth it.
Print Quality:
For everyday documents, it’s excellent—sharp text and clean color prints. Even photos come out crisp and vibrant, though I will say it’s a bit slower when printing high-definition images. That said, the final quality is absolutely worth the wait.
Functionality:
Having print, scan, and copy all in one compact machine is super convenient. It handles everything I need for home use—school papers, forms, photos, and more.
Wireless & Ease of Use:
Setup was quick, and the wireless printing works smoothly from my phone and computer. The interface is simple and beginner-friendly, so you don’t need to be tech-savvy to get it up and running.

inexpensive adequate home color printer. Security issues using Epson printing apps.
Style: All-in-One Printer
Economic and easy to set up home color printer.
Very cheap plastic body. Feels easy to crack if you press too hard. Setup and wifi was easily done using the Epson smart panel app on my phone. Took about 15-20 minutes. No problems.
Color printing quality on regular paper was very adequate though not photo quality.
Printing speed a little slow but not terrible.
Noisy. Would not put in a sleeping area.
As a home printer it is inexpensive to buy ($159) and print. Comes with bottles of ink with enough in the box for hopefully 5,000 (?) pages making the total price quite good.
I am satisfied so far. Suits my needs.
But I am worried about it sending data to Epson when using Epson printing apps. If i print from my android phone using Epson iPrint or Epson smartPanel apps, it will connect with Epson servers sending who knows what everytime I print. If i block Epson servers these apps will not print at all. Fortunately there are other android apps that will print from my phone on this printer without needing internet access.

Finally a printer sold for the user, not the person who sells ink!!
Style: All-in-One Printer
Independent and Transparent ink refill reservoirs means no more replacing tri-color cartridge when only 1 of three is depleted. Much less ink waste! And you can just look at the printer and know how much ink is left. Brilliant. No more solid black plastic cartridges.
Did not need to waste ink on a test page!! wat?! First print was a full multi-color page and didn't see ink get sucked up like a water spout; and it printed really, really fast and great color brilliance and and and... I'm so glad I spent the extra on this for my home use. I might even start printing photos for framing again.
Set up was a touch time consuming (30 minutes? ) but very well instructed via the mobile app. Most of the time was just waiting for the ink to get into the printer - I think around 8 minutes?.
Typically I hate that everyone wants you to download an app. I think this one was worth it. Fun extra print features. Usually I think all that is really dumb but this stuff is actually useful.

Awesome printer ! The software was a bit cumbersome at first for pc so make sure your pc and anti-virus ate updated and restart your pc and it should be a piece of cake .
The ink is super easy to fill, no spills and every color spout is different so you really can't accidentally use the wrong color .
It is a little bit on the loud side but not enough to complain about or remove a star especially at this price point .
It's a very good price considering the amount of ink it comes with .
