The book's principal aim is to provide a simple, thorough survey of elementary topics in the study of collections of objects, or sets, that possess a mathematical structure.The author begins with an informal discussion of set theory in Chapter 1, reserving coverage of countability for Chapter 5, where it appears in the context of compactness. In the second chapter Professor Mendelson discusses metric spaces, paying particular attention to various distance functions which may be defined on Euclidean n-space and which lead to the ordinary topology. Chapter 3 takes up the concept of topological space, presenting it as a generalization of the concept of a metric space. Chapters 4 and 5 are devoted to a discussion of the two most important topological properties: connectedness and compactness. Typos and confusing/missing information

I finished Domain 1 and it's okay. Things are explained well, but there are a lot of typos and strange formatting. The cover of the book says 2025-2026, but the spine of the book says 2024-2025.
The way that the quiz questions are worded is confusing and sometimes repetitive. I had 2 of the same questions in a row in one section. I'm struggling to take some quizzes because the questions that are being asked do not reference any material from that section (or anywhere in the book so far). I feel like there is information missing in the sections because the quizzes have random terms that have never been mentioned.
Example: D1: Essential knowledge questions
I am being asked about estimation tools like story points, relative estimation, and planning poker. Nowhere in the book have those things been mentioned.

Great study guide and structure tailored to the 4 domains that are in the CAPM Exam. I just passed the exam on my first try scoring above target in 3/4 categories and target in 1/4 categories. The online simulations was a great way to prepare for the exam. Highly recommend you purchase to pass the first try! (This and the PMBOK Guide 7th edition were the only study materials I used)

Excellent intro to Crypto
Format: Paperback
Great book for learning about Crypto. I found it well balanced between technical and non-technical information. Love the video inserts to help mix up the learning media. I highly recommend this for people trying to understand the economic models of crypto, the history of crypto as well as the more technical information about how it works (which can be easily skipped if you like). I bought a couple of these for friends.
