Our Hydropower hydraulic brake assist power booster fits 1960-62 Chevy and GMC trucks and generates up to 1800psi of line pressure to the brake calipers. It is fitted with a POL or Wilwood master cylinder and a Black Out adjustable proportioning valve. This kit is powered by hydraulic line pressure from the power steering pump. Firewall and valve cover clearance is equivalent to a 7" diameter vacuum booster. The firewall brackets are correct for 1960-62 GM truck applications.
The average power steering pump puts out from 800psi to 1400psi line pressure. The Hydropower® uses this to convert to pressure to apply against the master cylinder. This greatly improves stopping performance and driver feedback. These hydraulic power boosters can be easily installed on an existing vacuum booster vehicle or used to convert a manual brake setup to power with ordinary hand tools and average mechanical ability.

If you’ve ever seen these things, the foldable ones are just as good as the standard ones. I just wish when you folded it up there was a way to lock it into that position. When you unfold it to play, you lock it into place with the orange locking slide so it doesn’t fold up on you. But when you’re done playing and fold it up, there’s no way to lock it into that position, it can keep unfolding if you carry it around with you, plus the orange locking slide keeps sliding up and down. Like most people that have dogs I first went with the M size or Tennis ball size (about 2.5") chuckit for my 65-70 lbs Lab.
