El Libro de la vida es el primero de sus escritos no líricos y ya en él se hallan los temas más recurrentes de su obra. Se trata de una obra temprana y fresca, que combina la autobiografía con la enseñanza religiosa y el relato con la doctrina. De este modo, mientras que los primeros diez capítulos son meramente biográficos, casi confesionales, lo cual supuso una novedad totalmente rupturista en el ámbito de las letras, los siguientes capítulos constituyen un bello tratado acerca de la oración. Hacia el final de la obra, la carmelita retoma la narración más cotidiana y relata la fundación del convento de San José de Ávila. La sencilla y sincera prosa de santa Teresa de Jesús otorga al Libro de la vida no solo un valor religioso, sino sobre todo literario. La presente edición está a cargo de Jorge García López, profesor titular de la Universitat de Girona i un experto en literatura mística. Mouse Pad Charger

I absolutely love the mouse pad. It fits my 17.3 inch laptop nicely and my mouse. It's great for charging my phone next to me while I work. Unfortunately, it does not work for the Air Pods. It must be for an older version. Nonetheless, it's still a great buy.

Size is accurate and this is important in my situation as I use a pull out key tray and wanted edge to edge coverage. Depth is good but in my case I would have liked a deeper dimension as an option. Phone charger works well, the mouse slides smoothly

Will not charge your phone

I love this mat, but it doesn't do what it says... I bought this mat for the candlesticks! The charging station was a bonus. It is very large and covers my working area, which I like. But when I go to charge my phones, it doesn't work! I placed my Android phone on the magnetic charging circle, and it showed the lightning bolt charging icon. I looked at it 5 minutes later to see how much it charged, and it was at the same % when I put it on, and the lightning bolt was gone. I tried three times, and it never charged! I then tried with my Apple phone, and the same thing, it doesn't charge. Buy this for the mat's aesthetics only; don't expect it to charge phones or earbuds...

Not sturdy, practical, or worth the price.

Very cheap, unsteady.
Thin material, feels like it will snap with very little pressure. Does not stand up well, so when I place jewelry on it (2 very small pendants on thin solver chains), it tips over, making it not very functional or practical. It also is short, so even short chains fall onto the table (no tray below). I could have gotten a better one at Five Below for less. Really disappointed.
