Description: Labradorite is one of my obsession stones. To me, you and I and all of the world around us are miracles. I'm a believer that there is organization to this world around us that seems to be filled with chaos and randomness. I don't think that God (THE Master of the Universe, your higher power, or Divine Mind, or whatever your personal interpretation of that is) made Labradorites just by some sort of accident. To each of us, our beautiful crystal friends included, he (yes he, but who are we kidding God is beyond gender) gave us all a purpose. Along with all of the metaphysical properties of Labradorite, I think God gave Labradorites a flashy personality. I call my crystals girls most of the time and Labradorites especially. I think he gave them a personality that I think all woman (and men if we will yield to it) have and that is to express ourselves or flash a glimmer of fire (or passion). Our inner light!
If you are new to Labradorites you may not know that they don't flash their color (or fire) all the time. Some of them, just like us, can be stubborn and shy about expressing ourselves. You have to hold them just right with the light shinning just right to bring that fiery flash out. These gorgeous beauties had their photo shoot this morning along with many others and you'd probably be surprised that it took me over 2 hours to take 4 - 6 photos of 10 Labradorites. Most of this time is taken by slowly coaxing their fire to the surface. Much like we humans are sometimes.
