An Aleppo bar is two oils and lye: olive oil for a mild, low-stripping cleanse and laurel berry oil for its lather and skin feel. The Prestige bars keep that base intact and add a single botanical fragrance per bar. The scent is the only addition — there is no synthetic perfume compound, no phthalate carrier, and no preservative, so a sensitive face has less to react to than with a conventionally fragranced luxury bar.Un pain d’Alep, c’est deux huiles et de la soude : l’huile d’olive pour un nettoyage doux et peu décapant, et l’huile de baie de laurier pour sa mousse et son toucher sur la peau. Each scent is a natural fragrance derived entirely from plant sources (listed on the INCI as Parfum Naturel, with the naturally-occurring fragrance allergens — linalool, citronellol, geraniol, limonene — declared per scent as required). The bars are vegan, cruelty-free, and palm-oil-free. The intent is a refined, lingering scent rather than a loud one.
