Because these connectors are often located near the exhaust manifold or cylinder head, the plastic clips are prone to snapping. This kit allows you to replace the housing and terminals, ensuring your engine vitals stay connected even under extreme vibration and heat.

Compatibility & Fitment

This 4-pin "Key 2" connector is a direct replacement for:

  • Subaru: Ignition Coil Packs and Throttle Position Sensors (TPS).

  • Mazda FD RX7: Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).

  • Mazda MX-5 (Miata): Ignition Coils, Cam Sensors, and Crank Angle Sensors (CAS).

  • Mates with: Sumitomo DL090-4P-2 Connector (The male/plug side).

Installation

  • Crimp Tool: Since this connector often handles sensitive timing signals (Cam/Crank), a perfect crimp is essential. We recommend using the Sargent 1026CT crimp tool to prevent signal noise or voltage drops.
