Unveiled at the Fiorano Circuit on 23rd January 2026, the Scuderia Ferrari HP SF 26 is the team’s challenger for the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. It is the 72nd Formula 1 car built in Maranello and has been conceived from the ground up to meet the sport’s completely overhauled technical and sporting regulations - its most significant transformation in more than a decade. Central to this new era are lighter, more agile cars, a fundamental shift in aerodynamic philosophy, and an all new generation of hybrid power units.

A New Era

The SF-26 has been designed to meet the all-new regulations, prompting a complete rethink of the car’s architecture. The chassis abandons ground-effect aerodynamics in favour of a different approach, with cleaner lines and an overall philosophy focused on reducing weight and improving efficiency, in line with the objectives set by Formula 1 for these regulations. The power unit is also a major step forward: a new hybrid generation, eliminating the MGU-H and boosting the MGU-K to 350 kW, further increasing the contribution of the electric system. This required a completely new design approach and close integration between chassis and power unit.

Design, Colour and Identity

Reflecting the new aerodynamic and technical direction, the SF 26 features cleaner surfaces and more refined proportions, expressing lightness, agility, and functional clarity. From the outset, Ferrari’s designers prioritised a concept that is both robust and adaptable, ensuring strong development potential as the team gathers real-world data throughout the season.

The livery connects Ferrari’s heritage with its future, acting as a visual bridge as the team enters a new chapter. One of the most notable stylistic choices is the return to a gloss finish after seven years of matte paint. The 2026 Rosso Scuderia is brighter and more vivid, inspired by the special Monza livery of 2025 while echoing the iconic shade used around the turn of the millennium, an expression of Ferrari’s core values of passion, courage, and identity.

Complementing the red is a reinterpreted use of white, historically applied sparingly but with strong symbolic impact. Now placed around the cockpit and across the engine cover, it creates a clean, striking contrast that enhances the SF 26’s instantly recognisable silhouette. Together, the red and white form a visual dialogue between Ferrari’s legacy and its forward looking ambitions, a balance between tradition and innovation as Scuderia Ferrari HP embraces the challenges of Formula 1’s new technical frontier.

The Ferrari SF-26 is limited to just 99 pieces per driver at 1:8 scale.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
