Smart Battery Sense is een draadloze accuspannings en temperatuurmeter voor Victron MPPT-zonneladers. Accus laden sneller op als de accuspannings- en temperatuurmeter wordt gebruikt de laadefficientie wordt verbeterd en de levensduur van de accu verlengd. Door de spanning bij de aansluiting van de accubank te meten worden problemen als gevolg van spanningsverlies door kabelweerstand voorkomen waarbij de juiste laadspanning wordt gegarandeerd. Bij loodaccu s wordt de temperatuurmeting gebruikt om de laadspanning aan te passen: koude accus hebben een hogere laadspanning nodig, terwijl warme accu s een lagere laadspanning gebruiken. Bij lithium accu s wordt de temperatuurmeting gebruikt om het opladen uit te schakelen als deze te koud is het opladen van lithium accu s rondom het vriespunt veroorzaakt permanente schade aan de cellen. De verbinding tussen de Smart Battery Sense en een of meer zonnelader(s) is draadloos: er wordt gebruik gemaakt van het VE Smart Network een draadloze techniek gebaseerd op Bluetooth Smart. De beschikbare informatie kan gelijktijdig worden gebruikt door een, twee of meer zonneladers die zijn aangesloten op dezelfde 12V, 24V en 48V accubank. Het Smart Network wordt ingesteld via de VictronConnect app. De installatie is eenvoudig, snel en verzorgd. Sluit het oogeinde gewoon aan op de accupolen en bevestig de Smart Battery Sense meter rechtstreeks op de accubehuizing met de zelfklevende strip. Kleur: blauw
