Het is een ontzettend corpulente, geconcentreerde, complexe wijn met ontzettend veel diepgang en rijping potentieel. Nou kan je van Josmeyer eigenlijk altijd uitstekende kwaliteit wijnen verwachten met deze Grand Cru zit je absoluut in de Champions League. Hoewel ik me ook een beetje onwennig voel bij deze voetbal vergelijking is het wel waar. Het is een top huis en dit is een van hun top cuvées. De geur is intens, met rijk en rijp fruit zoals citrus maar ook tropische tonen. In de smaak doet de wijn ook zijn naam eer aan. Hij heeft de kracht en intensiteit van een jong (mannelijk) paard. Daarnaast heeft hij prachtige zuren en de karakteristieke Josmeyer mineraliteit. De 2011 toont zich helemaal nu, maar kan zeker ook nog wel even mee. Veel rijpe limoen en honing in de smaak met een prettige rokerige ondertoon.

Great jacket

5’ 10”, 160 lb, 46” chest, 38” waist. I bought a size L jacket in antique indigo. I thought it might be too tight, but it fit perfectly, with enough room to wear a layer underneath. It felt a bit snug in the chest and tight under the shoulder. Not much room for layering. I decided to keep the Wrangler jacket. The fit is looser. I like the the square chest pockets (which will actually hold something) and straight vertical seams over the Levi’s small, tapered pockets and diagonal seams.
