Biotine is belangrijk voor de groei en het herstel van de huid en hoeven van het paard. Het is namelijk een belangrijke vitamine die essentieel is voor de celgroei. Biotine zit in bijna alle lichaamscellen en is belangrijk voor het complete metabolisme, een stabiel centraal zenuwstelsel en het handhaven van een stabiele bloedsuikerspiegel.
Biotine is essentieel voor de vorming en stevigheid van keratineweefsel. Dit is het materiaal waaruit huid, haar en hoeven bestaan. Biotine is nodig voor de vorming van een soort ‘cement’ dat alle cellen in de hoef stevig aan elkaar ‘lijmt’ en zorgt voor een stevige structuur van de hoef. Koper en zink spelen samen met biotine een belangrijke rol bij de vorming van nieuw hoefhoorn.
Paarden die baat kunnen hebben bij het gebruik van extra biotine zijn dieren met droge, broze hoeven, hoeven die snel scheuren en paarden met algehele slechte hoeven.
Het is belangrijk om te beseffen dat extra biotine alleen invloed kan hebben op de groei van nieuw hoefhoorn en dat het niets kan verbeteren aan de bestaande hoef. Afhankelijk van de groeisnelheid van de hoef duurt het daarom zo’n 8-15 maanden voordat er resultaat zichtbaar wordt.

Smoothest Dermaplane Session EVER!
Scent: For Sensitive Skin, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This stuff is MIRACULOUS! I also struggle with dermaplanning at home and much prefer to have a professional do it, but that’s too costly for me to do as often as I’d like. I won’t say using this made the results as good as a professional but it wasn’t far off! It literally transformed the entire at home experience! I also end up with my skin feeling dry and irritated and almost bumpy and I feel like I never get a close or smooth result and it takes forever. This cut the process down by about half the time, I had zero redness or irritation afterwards, my skin was silky smooth, and I had zero rough spots. It took a very small amount of product and I never had to add any extra. I left it on afterwards until I got in the shower because it felt so soothing on my face. I have experienced no breakouts after using this and I honestly feel like it helped repair some areas that always feel a bit rough on my face. I can’t recommend this enough! For the record, I have tried dermaplanning with a variety of regular face oils and those worked just as well as using nothing. So I was really doubtful that just because this was marketed for dermaplanning it would make a big difference. But it honestly made a massive difference! I really appreciate that I was able to purchase a smaller bottle at a reasonable price to try. Even though the small bottle will probably last forever I’ll definitely be ordering the big size when I’m out. I will forever purchase this stuff!
