Op 8 mei 2026 brengt Aldous Harding haar vijfde studioalbum uit, getiteld Train On The Island.

Het 10 nummers tellende album werd gecoproduceerd door haar vaste samenwerkingspartner John Parish (bekend van PJ Harvey en Dry Cleaning) in de Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales. Dit is dezelfde plek waar het duo ook Hardings eerdere werk opnam: Party (2017), Designer (2019) en Warm Chris (2022).

Naast Harding en Parish werkten ook pedal-steel-speler Joe Harvey-Whyte, harpiste Mali Llywelyn, synth-artiest Thomas Poli, drummer Sebastian Rochford (Polar Bear) en Huw Evans (H. Hawkline) mee aan het album. Evans nam de bas, zang, akoestische/elektrische gitaar en het orgel voor zijn rekening.

This should be marketed as a kids stuffed animal. In no way shape or form is this a chew toy unless you have an aging toothless two pound Chihuahua.
