Deze paddenstoel tuinprikker is een prachtige metalen decoratie voor in de tuin. De paddenstoel is uitgerust met een tuinprikker, waardoor hij stevig in de grond geprikt kan worden. Hij is gemaakt van Cortenstaal, een duurzaam en weerbestendig materiaal.

De paddenstoel is een geliefd en herkenbare schimmel dat bekend staat om zijn mooie uiterlijk en schattige verschijning. Paddenstoelen zijn erg nuttig, zonder bodemschimmels en zijn paddenstoelen zou het maar een rommeltje zijn. Met hun schimmeldraden ruimen ze organisch materiaal op, zoals bladeren, hout en dode wormen. Paddenstoelen zijn een soort stofzuigers! Meer dan 90% van de afbraak van de organische reststoffen gebeurt door schimmels. Zonder hen zou een bos in zijn eigen afval omkomen.

Materiaaleigenschappen Cortenstaal

Onze metalen dieren worden gemaakt van het weervaste cortenstaal, dit materiaal zal door weersinvloeden na verloop van tijd een karakteristieke roestbruine kleur krijgen door de oxidehuid die zich vormt. Deze oxidehuid beschermt het dieperliggende materiaal het hele jaar door. Zo blijft deze metalen paddenstoel jarenlang beschermd. Net als alle andere cortenstalen decoraties die wij leveren, wordt deze metalen egel geleverd in ‘’blank’’ metaal.

Had for just over 9 years now and still pretty solid

I ordered this chair back in December 2015 for our front office, and it's been moved to our back shop where we fabricate. We're not a gentle work space by any stretch of the imagination; we build stuff and it's messy, lots of tools etc. This chair has held up surprisingly well! The faux leather is delaminating almost entirely on the seat but honestly, I'd expect that for faux leather on something that is used daily. The seat pad, in my opinion, has gotten de-poofed. So it's not plush anymore but still usable. I've asked the guy that's using it if they want an upgrade/update and they said they like it and don't want to change it out just yet. That's saying something! The size is nice and wide. We've had a range of differently sized folks sit in the chair over the years and the seat was always comfortable (less now without so much seat poof), I was able to sit cross-legged and the whole chair felt sturdy then as it does now. All of the standards functions you'd want an office chair to do, it can still do: it goes up and down smoothly, it rolls just fine, it's still pivot-reclines comfortably and doesn't feel like it's going to topple. I like it!
