De TTE740 is een Stage 3 hybride turbo-upgrade van TheTurboEngineers, speciaal ontwikkeld voor de Porsche 992 3.0 Twin Turbo. Deze upgrade levert een duidelijke vermogenswinst met behoud van een snelle respons die zeer dicht bij OEM ligt, wat hem ideaal maakt voor high-performance straat- en trackbuilds.

Voor de TTE740 worden de originele compressorwielen vervangen door grotere en efficiëntere TTE billet compressorwielen (7+7 bladen). De compressorhuizen worden CNC-bewerkt naar optimale toleranties om perfect aan te sluiten op het nieuwe profiel. Aan de uitlaatzijde worden grotere 9-bladige turbines gemonteerd, wat de luchtstroom vergroot en de uitlaatgastemperaturen verlaagt bij hogere turbodrukken.

Het geheel wordt gecombineerd met een TTE Motorsport upgrade lagerpakket voor duurzaamheid onder hoge belasting. Deze configuratie resulteert in 630+ pk op 98RON, zonder concessies te doen aan spool en rijbaarheid.

Balancering

Voor maximale betrouwbaarheid en prestaties worden alle TTE740 turbochargers eerst low-speed uitgebalanceerd tot 2800 rpm in meerdere vlakken. Vervolgens wordt de complete CHRA high-speed VSR-gebalanceerd tot 250.000 rpm op TTE’s in-house VSR-machine. Elke turbo wordt geleverd met een genummerd balans-testresultaatdocument.
