De Terra Trail is opgebouwd rond een karkas van 240 tpi (4 lagen van 60 tpi) onder het loopvlak en 180 tpi (3 lagen van 60 tpi) op de zijwanden. Hij is uitgerust met topkwaliteit Black Chili rubber, dat voldoet aan de meest veeleisende eisen op het gebied van grip, prestaties en duurzaamheid.

Deze CONTINENTAL-band profiteert van de ProTection-laag, die het loopvlak en de zijwanden bedekt om het risico op insnijdingen en lekken te verminderen (zelfs bij lage druk). Deze bescherming maakt het karkas niet zwaarder en voegt zelfs nuttige demping toe op de zwaarste wegen.
