No, it will reach its maximum expanded size after soaking for about 24-48 hours after hatching. If removed from the water and allowed to dry, it will slowly shrink back down.

It sticks down good but you have to clean your surface so there's a good grip. I think these are going to do well for noise cancellation. The deadening material does well with absorbing vibrations too. But the install roller tools it will come in handy. Trust me trying to do it by hand is not worth it.
