The ELR series of rifles is purpose-built for long-range hunting. It combines all of the features that a discerning hunter is interested in, maximizing performance potential and minimizing weight. The stock is made from lightweight carbon fiber composite material, and is optimized for long range accuracy. The but cant is adjustable, and the comb and length of pull are both fully adjustable via spacers. A modified beavertail forearm and tactical grip promotes greater comfort in virtually any shooting position, and (5) flush cup mounts accommodates the use of a sling or bipod. The stock is mated to the action with spot bedding and stainless steel pillars, ensuring superior stability. The action itself features an integral picatinny rail for virtually unlimited mounting options, and a 20 MOA inclination helps extend the elevation adjustment range of mounted optics. The bolt features hand-lapped twin lugs, a spiral fluting, and an M16 style extractor for ensure flawless feeding and extraction of cartridges and brass. The ELR´s action is topped off is a fully adjustable match grade trigger and for superior accuracy, and is giving a Nitride treatment for resistance to the elements and corrosion. The ELR is also equipped with carbon fiber barrel. The barrel making process starts with a 416R stainless steel bar, which is precision drilled, button rifled, and turned down to an ultra-slim profile. The barrel is then wrapped in layers of a proprietary carbon fiber material that was originally used in the aircraft industry, before being threaded, and given a titanium radial muzzle brake to mitigate recoil. The result is a barrel with a light target contour and a match chamber, which exceeds the standards associated with traditional steel barrels but without the weight.
