Release the "Species" button, and the display will show the number "0. 00," indicating that it is now in balance calibration mode.

With the instrument in the powered-off state, place it horizontally. Remove all items from the instrument, then press and hold the "Species" button while simultaneously pressing the "ON/OFF" button once to power on the instrument. The instrument will emit a beep.

Release the "Species" button, and the display will show the number "0.00," indicating that it is now in balance calibration mode.

Press the confirmation button once; the decimal point on the display will blink, and the number "200g" will flash, indicating that the 200g calibration weight should be placed.

Carefully place the provided standard calibration weight (or a 200g standard weight) on the black pointed tip at the center of the measurement sensor. Press the "OK" button once more. After the instrument displays the result, power it off to exit. Remove the calibration weight, and you're done.
